Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Electrical/Computer Engineer to join our CyRIC-IoT Division with the ability and talent to work on the installation and development of high-standard wireless networking and telemetry/automation projects. These projects will range from commercial integration projects for CyRIC’s customers to advanced European projects. Through these projects we stay at the forefront of cutting-edge innovations and can develop, test and deploy the latest wireless and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The successful candidate will report to CyRIC-IoT Technical Division Manager, Commercial Department.

Responsibilities and Duties

As an IoT Engineer in our team, you will be expected to perform:

  • Hands-on installation, configuration and maintenance/site support of wireless networking and telemetry/automation projects to support Commercial and R&D Departments.

  • Test and evaluate CyRIC-IoT products and systems, including gateways and sensors.

  • Design, develop, and test solutions within our commercial IoT platform, ensuring high-quality and innovative outcomes.

  • Coordinate and work together with project partners and customers towards the efficient implementation of Commercial and R&D projects.

  • Required Qualifications and Skills

  • BSc/BEng or Dipl-Ing in Electrical/Electronic/Wireless/Computer Engineering or closely related fields or equivalent professional/technical school certifications.

  • Hands-on experience with electronic/electrical/automation systems installation or prototyping via professional or personal/student projects

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in both Greek and English.

Skills and qualifications considered an advantage:

  • Experience with mobile/wireless technologies and antenna/hotspot installations

  • Experience with Automation/Monitoring/IoT deployments on customer premises

  • Basic programming Skills: Javascript, Python, C etc

  • Basic knowledge of MQTT, HTTP, Restful APIs

  • Basic knowledge of industrial protocols: Modbus, Analog and Digital IOs etc

Language Requirements

  • English & Greek (Fluent verbal and written communication)
